How to request account deletion

If you would like to delete your BladeSync account and associated data, send an email to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@blackbeardtechnologies.com.

Your email must include the following:

  1. The name of the app — “BladeSync”.
  2. Your account email address — the email you use to sign in to BladeSync, so we can verify your identity.

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following data:

Account & profile Permanently deleted (name, email, squad, preferences) Within 7 days
Firebase Authentication record Permanently deleted Within 7 days
Strava integration tokens Permanently deleted; Strava connection revoked Within 7 days
Google Calendar integration Permanently deleted; calendar sync stopped Within 7 days
Workout history Permanently deleted Within 7 days
Session bookings & availability Permanently deleted Within 7 days
Push notification token Permanently deleted Within 7 days
Fee & payment records (including account ledger and balance) Retained in anonymised form for club accounting (required by law) Up to 7 years
Expense claims Retained in anonymised form for club accounting Up to 7 years
Expense receipt files Permanently deleted from Cloud Storage Within 7 days
Reimbursement requests Retained in anonymised form for club accounting Up to 7 years
Financial records. Under UK law, clubs must retain financial transaction records for up to 7 years. These records will be anonymised so they can no longer be linked to you.
